A YouTube video from Uruguay got over 5 million views in 2 months, and landed a $30 million contract for producer Fede Alvarez.

The video is reported to have cost $300 to make.

The movie Mr. Alvarez has been asked to produce is a sci-fi film to be shot in Uruguay and Argentina. He says he intends to start from scratch and develop a new story for the project.  Here’s the entire video:
